According to one of the curators of the concert, Alexandra Vasilyeva, the Refectory Church of the Lavra is a place with “the best acoustics” for the performance of musical works.
“Organizing this concert, a concert of modern Ukrainian music within the walls of the Lavra, was a challenge and at the same time a blessing. The synergy of space, time and music that formed a miracle. ...> It was truly a Ukrainian space. Ukrainian Lavra, where everyone can hear what appeals to them specifically,” she wrote on her Facebook page.
As the UOJ reported, a concert was held in the Refectory Church of the Lavra, at which a song about the “murder of a Muscovite” was performed.
