Metropolitan Onufriy of Kharkiv and Bohodukhiv expressed condolences to the families of those who died as a result of air strikes on the city of Kharkiv on May 23, 2024, according to the website of the Kharkiv Eparchy of the UOC.

"In these days, a cruel struggle is being waged against our people, against the peaceful existence of the Ukrainian people in general, cities and villages are being destroyed. "May the All-Merciful Lord repose the souls of the innocent in His dwellings," the hierarch wished.
