After the reading of the Holy Gospel, His Beatitude addressed the faithful with a sermon, in which he spoke about the life and deeds of Venerable Anthony of the Caves.

During the special litany, prayers were offered for peace in Ukraine and deliverance from the enemy. The Primate asked God for mercy for the Ukrainian people, that the Lord would grant wisdom to the authorities, strengthen the soldiers with courage, free the captives, heal the sick, and shelter those who are homeless.

His Beatitude Metropolitan Onuphry ordained Yevhen Tymchenko, a cleric of the Church of the Exaltation of the Holy Cross in Boyarka, as a deacon.

After the Liturgy, the clergy, led by the Primate, performed a moleben to Venerable Anthony.
