How can one lie so blatantly?

The OCU called the gathering under the fence of the UOC Cathedral in Chernivtsi a "historic event", where unknown individuals voted to transfer three (!) churches in the city to Dumenko's jurisdiction. This happened while inside the cathedral, thousands of parishioners, along with the clergy, were voting for their loyalty to the UOC.
Everyone understands (and the OCU, above all, knows) that this "fence-side" meeting was a fraudulent gathering of scammers, which, even theoretically, cannot be considered legitimate. Let us explain why.
At a meeting, only the religious community can vote. Not people from the neighboring street but those who regularly attend services, confess, partake in communion and participate in the life of the parish. If the community of the cathedral is already inside, who are these people under the fence?
And it seems absolutely sketchy when voting is done as a "package" on behalf of several religious communities at once. This is so illegal that it's strange to even discuss it seriously.
We understand that the country is on the verge of great changes, that is why the OCU is trying to grab everything it can, "as if it were the last day". But surely, there should be some Christian conscience. One cannot lie so blatantly and openly. After all, the Savior clearly named the source of lies: "He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaks a lie, he speaks of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it."
We hope it's unnecessary to clarify who Christ meant.
