TRC releases Protodeacon of UOC's Balta Eparchy

On March 5, 2025, officers of the Territorial Recruitment Center (TRC) released Protodeacon Andriy Kravchuk, a cleric of the Holy Dormition Cathedral in Balta.
The news was shared by the protodeacon’s wife, Dariya Kravchuk, on her Facebook page. She expressed gratitude to everyone who supported their family and prayed for the clergyman’s release.
Earlier, the UOJ reported that on March 4, 2025, in the city of Podilsk, Odesa region, police stopped Protodeacon Andriy Kravchuk and took him to the local Territorial Recruitment Center.
According to available information, police officers did not take into account the documents he provided, including proof of passing the military medical commission and his clergy ID. For an entire day, the clergyman was out of contact, and his whereabouts remained unknown.
