Patriarch John X congratulates Archbishop of Albania

On March 18, 2025, Patriarch John X, Patriarch of Antioch and All the East of the Greek Orthodox Church, sent a congratulatory message to Archbishop John of Albania on the occasion of his election to the post of Archbishop, the press service of the Church of Antioch reported.

The message reads: "We have received with joy the news of your election as Archbishop of Tirana and all Albania. We congratulate you and ask Almighty God to grant Your Beatitude His heavenly blessings for the ministry in the Church He has redeemed."

Earlier, the UOC wrote that the World Council of Churches congratulated the new Albanian Primate.
