Celebrations in honor of St. Theodosius begin at Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra

On May 15, 2025, on the eve of the feast day of St. Theodosius, hegumen of the Kyiv Caves, His Beatitude Metropolitan Onuphry led the brotherhood’s all-night vigil, reports the monastery’s Telegram channel.
The service was held at the Agapitus Church of the Lavra.
The Primate of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church was served by Metropolitan Antony of Boryspil and Brovary, Metropolitan Clement of Nizhyn and Pryluky, Head of the UOC Information and Education Department, Metropolitan Joasaph of Vasylkiv, Archbishop Andriy of Petropavlivka, Archbishop Spyridon of Vyshneve, Bishop Lavr of Irpin, Bishop Mark of Borodianka, Bishop Kyrylo of Byshiv, Bishop Philaret of Baryshivka, as well as the monastery clerics and visiting clergy.
During the service they read the Akathist to St. Theodosius.
As reported by the UOJ, the Kharkiv Eparchy of the UOC commemorated St. Athanasius of Constantinople.
