On June 8, 2025, during the feast of Pentecost, more than 26,000 people received water baptism as part of the Baptize America initiative. This was reported by the Christian Broadcasting Network.

According to the organizers, this became the largest mass baptism in the history of the USA.

More than 650 churches from all 50 states joined the event. The central event took place at Pirate's Cove Beach in California, a landmark location for American Protestantism.

Many participants described the event as a profound spiritual experience. "It was incredible, as if God was there," shared one of the newly baptized.

Earlier, the UOJ wrote that in Washington, U.S. Protestants held a picket against their co-religionists from Russia.
