Abducted cleric of Kamianske Eparchy taken in an unknown direction

On June 19, 2025, Kamianske TRC employees detained Priest Rostislav (Ruslan) Kalinovsky, a cleric of Kamianske Eparchy of the UOC. According to the Telegram channel kozakTv1, the clergyman has been held for the third day, and today, June 21, he was taken to an unknown location.

According to the channel's sources, Father Rostislav was driven around various military units all day yesterday, where they refused to accept him.

Later, the priest was returned to the Piatykhatky TRC, his cassock and phone were taken away. The phone was later returned with instructions to charge it. He was told that “some actions” would be carried out with him the following day.

Today, around 4 a.m., the cleric of the Kamianske Eparchy of the UOC was taken from the TRC to an unknown location. After that, contact with him was lost.

As reported by the UOJ, Father Rostislav serves in a small parish that requires constant care and investment. To support the church and provide for his family, he works as a metal caster at the "Kametstal" enterprise. The priest was detained on his way to work. It is known that Father Rostislav has a complicated family situation: his wife is a Group III disabled person, his mother suffers from a severe form of asthma, and his brother serves in the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
