During the Liturgy, prayers were offered for peace in Ukrainian land, deliverance from the enemy, blessings for those in need and for the people who help them.
Prayers were also offered for the repose of all fallen Ukrainian soldiers, innocently killed during the war, and for all departed Orthodox Christians.
During the service, the clerics and believers commemorated the newly departed Protopriest Andriy Oliynyk, the rector of the church. After the liturgy, a memorial service was held at Father Andriy's grave.
As reported by the UOJ, the Rivne Eparchy called on the head of the regional council not to offend UOC believers.
