Refusal of passport to support His Beatitude may become widespread – expert

The deprivation of His Beatitude Metropolitan Onuphry of Ukrainian citizenship not only outraged the faithful but also prompted some to actively demonstrate their attitude towards the authorities' arbitrariness, writes political scientist Kostiantyn Bondarenko on his Telegram channel, commenting on the video message of combat medic Larysa Brodetska in support of the UOC Primate.

Thus, war veteran and combat medic Larysa Brodetska recorded a video message to Zelensky, in which she stated that she returns all the awards and orders received during his presidency, and also expressed full support for the persecuted head of the UOC. Larysa also suggested that her Ukrainian citizenship be taken away as well," wrote Bondarenko.

The political expert believes that soon such an initiative may become widespread.

As reported by the UOJ, combat medic, war veteran, and volunteer Larysa Brodetska (Zburliuk), in response to the deprivation of His Beatitude's citizenship, addressed Zelensky: You took citizenship from His Beatitude – take mine too.
