Next court hearing in case of Metropolitan Arseniy scheduled for July 18

A new hearing in the case of Metropolitan Arseniy of Sviatohirsk is scheduled for July 18, 2025, at the Sloviansk City District Court in Donetsk region, according to the press service of the Sviatohirsk Lavra.
The Lavra reports that the court will consider a motion to recuse Judge Khaustova during the upcoming session.
The hearing is set to begin at 10:00 AM.
The brethren request prayers and spiritual support.
As previously reported by UOJ, the upcoming court sessions are also expected to review a prosecutor’s request to extend the preventive measure of detention. The current measure is set to expire at the end of July.
To recall, the hierarch of the UOC has been held in Dnipro pre-trial detention center since April 25, 2024 – now for over 14 months.
