In Holoskiv, house church of UOC community set on fire

On the night of August 1 to 2, 2025, the house church in the village of Holoskiv, Khmelnytskyi district, where the UOC parish of the Pochaev Icon of the Mother of God prays, was set on fire. This was reported by the press service of the Khmelnytskyi Eparchy.
Rescuers from the State Emergency Service were able to promptly extinguish the fire. Law enforcement officers also acted professionally and identified the perpetrator.
"The religious community of the UOC of the Pochaev Icon of the Mother of God in the village of Holoskiv, Khmelnytskyi district, expresses its gratitude to the employees of the State Emergency Service and the Main Directorate of the National Police in the Khmelnytskyi region for their professional fulfillment of their duties, thanks to which the fire was promptly extinguished and the perpetrator was identified," the statement says.
As reported by the UOJ, in Dnipro, the police released the arsonist of the UOC church.
