In St Nicholas Monastery of Sharhorod, tonsure into great schema performed

On August 8, 2025, the abbot of the St Nicholas Monastery in the city of Sharhorod, Vinnytsia region, Archimandrite Paisiy performed the tonsure of a monk into the great schema. This was reported by the press service of the Mohyliv-Podilskyi Eparchy.

The newly tonsured schemamonk received the name Job, in honor of St. Job of Pochaev. After the tonsure, Archimandrite Paisiy addressed Hieroschemamonk Job with words of spiritual guidance.

The abbot of the monastery performed the rite of tonsure with the blessing of Metropolitan Agapit of Mohyliv-Podilskyi and Sharhorod.

As reported by the UOJ, earlier Metropolitan Agapit performed the tonsure into the great schema in the church of Otchenashivka.
