On August 25, 2025, around 14:00, the procession from Kamianets-Podilskyi entered the Pochaiv Lavra, the pilgrims reported to the UOJ.
As the pilgrims walked through the streets of Pochaiv, local residents knelt down in the middle of the road, and participants of the procession carried holy icons and crosses over them. At the front of the procession children went ahead, proclaiming: “Christ is Risen!” Hundreds of faithful awaited the pilgrims at the Lavra gates.
Earlier, the UOJ reported that at the entrance to Ternopil region police had initially refused to allow more than 100 vehicles accompanying the pilgrims to pass, but later the procession was able to continue along its planned route.
