American lawyer of the UOC Robert Amsterdam on his page X called Zelensky "the king of disinformation" for his comment to the American Christian channel TBN about the absence of persecution of the UOC.

The literal king of disinformation!!!! His government has enacted religious hatred into law!! Shameful!" wrote Amsterdam, publishing a post by the UOJ in America about Zelensky's interview with American journalist Rosenberg.

As reported, in an interview with Israeli-American Protestant journalist Joel Rosenberg, Volodymyr Zelensky assured that all accusations from the West regarding the persecution of the clergy and believers of the UOC are "manipulative". "All these claims are manipulative. The fact is that Ukrainian legislation states that no religious organization or any organization can have legal ties with an aggressor country. And this is true. But it is absolutely normal during wartime not to have legal ties with the ROC. And this is not about persecution or closure of any paricular Church," Zelensky assured.
