Court hearing in Metropolitan Arseniy's case to be held on Dec 10 in Dnipro

On December 10, 2025, two hearings will take place in the Sobornyi District Court of Dnipro in the case of Metropolitan Arseniy, the abbot of the Sviatohirsk Lavra. The hearings will consider motions filed by his lawyers requesting the dismissal of the investigator and the recusal of the investigating judge, according to the official Telegram channel of the Lavra.

The sessions are scheduled for 16:30 and 17:00. Both will be held at the court building at 13 Husenko Street, Dnipro. According to the lawyers, the investigation requires review, as previous violations have affected the course of the case.

The Sviatohirsk Lavra continues to call on the faithful to offer prayerful support for Metropolitan Arseniy and the brotherhood.

Earlier, the UOJ reported that the court extended Metropolitan Arseniy’s detention until February 2026.
