On December 17, 2025, in Kyiv, the UOC Chancellor,  Metropolitan Antoniy and the abbot of the Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra Metropolitan Pavel celebrated the Divine Liturgy at the Church of the Holy Great Martyr Barbara, in Lukyanivka. This was reported by Metropolitan Antoniy on his Facebook page. They were concelebrated by the hierarchs of the UOC, the clergy of the church, and guests in holy orders.

During the service, prayers were offered for peace in Ukraine. After the liturgy, Bishop Pavel congratulated the faithful on the patronal feast and invoked God's blessing on everyone.

Earlier, the UOJ wrote that the UOC Chancellor commented on the celebrations at the Phanar with the participation of the Pope.
