Filaret hospitalized

On March 9, 2026, it became known about the hospitalization of the head of UOC-KP Filaret Denysenko. According to a report on the official website of the Kyiv Patriarchate structure, Denysenko was taken to one of the capital's medical institutions due to deteriorating health.
The organization noted that he is currently under medical observation and receiving necessary medical care. Representatives of the structure called on their "hierarchs," clergy and believers to offer prayers for the health and recovery of Filaret Denysenko.
Earlier, the UOJ wrote that Dumenko congratulated Filaret on his 97th birthday and thanked him for the OCU creation.
