On March 21, 2026, a monastic tonsure took place at the Holy Transfiguration Kniazhychi Monastery of the Boryspil Eparchy. The rite was performed by the monastery's abbot, Archbishop Ambrose of Zghurivka, as reported on the monastery's Facebook page.
Monk Vikenty was tonsured into the mantle. In his tonsure, he received the name Zosima – in honor of Saint Zosima of Palestine. After the completion of the rite, the ruling bishop addressed the new monk with words of instruction and wished him salvation in the Lord.
As the UOJ reported earlier, the Supreme Court of Ukraine confirmed the legality of transferring the monastery complex buildings in Kniazhychi to Dumenko's structure. The legal attack on the canonical Church's monastery has been ongoing since 2022.
