On May 14, the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine created an inter-factional association titled “Seeking the Kingdom of God and His Righteousness,” LB.ua reports.
The creation of the association was announced from the parliamentary rostrum by First Deputy Speaker of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Oleksandr Korniienko. According to him, the decision was made pursuant to Article 63 of the Rules of Procedure of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine. People’s Deputy Heorhiy Mazurashu was elected head of the new inter-factional association.
After the announcement, Korniienko congratulated Mazurashu on his election and suggested that colleagues address him as head of the association, adding that “the Kingdom of God certainly would not hurt us.”
Earlier, the UOJ reported the Rada lawmaker saying that the current MPs had been “chosen by the Lord.”
