“Just don’t take Poles to one of the churches in Ternopil,” she wrote. The post sparked heated debate in the comments.

“On the contrary – take them there! Let them know these are our heroes. That is how it was, and that is how it will be,” Irena wrote.

“Portraits like this in church are called brain schizophrenia. What does Bandera have to do with the Church?” Zinoviy Moroz objected.

“How funny it is to see Nazi murderers hanging in your churches – places that are supposed to be sacred. So you are not only a bunch of bandits; you actually worship the devil, not God,” wrote Froach, a user from Poland.

Another user posted a photo of a stained-glass window depicting Stepan Bandera’s father, Andrii, located in a Uniate church in the village of Koziv.

As the UOJ found out, the fresco of Bandera is located in the choir loft of the church.

Earlier, the UOJ wrote that, according to Epifaniy, the OCU is proud when its members are called Banderites.
