Neshcheriv Monastery to host All-Ukrainian forum for young altar servers

By the blessing of His Beatitude Metropolitan Onuphry of Kyiv and All Ukraine, the Synodal Department for Youth Affairs of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church will hold a gathering of young Orthodox altar servers, announces Archbishop Iona of Obukhiv on his Facebook page.

The event will take place on August 24–26, 2026, on the grounds of the Transfiguration Monastery in the village of Neshcheriv, Kyiv region, where a tent camp will be organized for participants.

Young altar servers, chanters, subdeacons, readers, bell-ringers, and all young men who assist in church and fulfill ecclesiastical obediences from all eparchies of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church are invited to participate.

According to the organizers, the forum program includes introductions and fellowship, lectures and spiritual conversations, communal prayer and the Divine Liturgy, sports competitions, games and quests, an evening bonfire with songs, as well as a hike to a mountain and a lake.
