The Choir Director and Catechist Theological School at the St. Tikhvin Convent in Dnipro has announced admissions for the new academic year, the press service of the Dnipropetrovsk Eparchy reports.

The school trains students in three areas: church choir director, church choir singer, and psalm reader/typikon specialist. The course of study lasts three years and includes both musical and theological disciplines. Upon graduation, students receive a diploma entitling them to teach at theological educational institutions.

As the UOJ reported, a graduation ceremony for choir directors was previously held at the St. Tikhvin Convent in Dnipro.
