Metropolitan Victor of Khmelnytskyi and Starokostiantyniv presented UAH 50,000 to help cover the treatment of 12-year-old Mariia Prots. Doctors diagnosed the girl with cerebral palsy in the form of right-sided hemiparesis, the Khmelnytskyi Eparchy reports.

The funds for the seriously ill child were raised by faithful of the Khmelnytskyi Eparchy as part of an eparchial charity campaign titled “To Easter with Good Deeds.” Organizers said the project is aimed at supporting seriously ill children in the Khmelnytskyi Region.

As the UOJ reported, the UOC Khmelnytskyi Eparchy donated 20 tons of aid to hospitals and social care facilities.
