Dumenko discusses cooperation with Islamic countries with Mufti

The head of the OCU Epifaniy Dumenko held a meeting with the Supreme Mufti of Ukraine Sheikh Ahmed Tamim, discussing engagement with Muslim countries in support of Ukraine, reports the OCU press service.
During the meeting, the parties discussed in detail the military strikes on religious buildings in the country. The interlocutors also addressed issues of spiritual and psychological assistance to citizens during the period of military conflict.
Particular attention was paid by the participants of the dialogue to the international activities of Ukrainian religious leaders. They outlined steps to strengthen work abroad in support of Ukraine. In particular, the interlocutors planned joint actions with representatives of Islamic countries.
As the UOJ reported, OCU clergy visited a mosque in Kharkiv on the occasion of Eid al-Adha.
