Procession to number over 100,000 UOC believers on Day of Baptism of Rus
The Orthodox from all UOC eparchies, as well as pilgrims from neighbouring countries, will take part in the celebrations of the 1030th anniversary of the Baptism of Rus.
As reported by the Kiev Metropolitanate, it is expected that on July 28 the Cross procession from the Vladimir Hill to the Kiev Pechersk Lavra will gather more than 100 thousand people.
100 thousand believers from all corners of Ukraine participated in the religious procession last year.
The Ukrainian Orthodox Church presented the program of celebrations for July 27-28 - the commemoration of the Baptism of Rus and for July 22-23 – the 30th anniversary of the revival of monasticism.
