Maria Trandafilova, a daughter of Orthodox journalist Yan Taksiur detained by the SBU, reported that his condition became critical.
The health condition of Orthodox journalist Yan Taksiur, who was detained by the SBU on 10 March, has become critical, as reported by the publicist's daughter Maria Trandafilova on her Facebook page.
"News from my dad from the pre-trial detention centre. Severe pain, also his heart is acting up. He said: ‘I won't live long.’ I think: "Can't anyone help us get him out of there before the trial? It turns out a real martyrdom. Pray for Ioanne," Maria wrote.
As reported, the journalist and presenter of the Pershyi Kozatskyy channel, Yan Taksiur, lost consciousness in the pre-trial detention centre, where he has been kept since 10 March. The Orthodox journalist is charged under the article "high treason".
